After years of hard Rugby training & competition my body has taken a pummelling! I was very sceptical of yoga, but after being dragged along to Hot Yoga I haven't looked back - I loved the great whole body work-out it gave me. I now try to get to at least 2 classes per week, and since I started in April 2011, my flexibility in my whole body has improved greatly. Hot Yoga is not just for girls! Be prepared to sweat! I wish I had been able to come to Hot Yoga throughout my years in competition."

I took up Yoga about 2 years ago after suffering with the after effects of a car crash. The basic yoga I learnt helped to strengthen my back to the extent that I stopped taking painkillers every day.
I'd read about Hot Yoga and discovered yogafever in Cardiff. yogafever classes are challenging, great fun and one of the best workouts I’ve ever done. The heat helps you get into the postures and my yoga practice has gotten stronger and better for it. My only regret with Yoga is that I didn't start ten years ago!

Finding Hot Yoga has been the remedy I was searching for. It has helped me focus on developing and deepening my yoga practice combined with giving me a good (sweaty) workout! The class can be as intense as you want depending on how you feel that day, and the mixed levels in the class give it a balanced and non-competitive mood.
Being part of the class since Summer 2010 has also allowed me to meet so many lovely and like-minded people, who have happily shared their knowledge and backgrounds. So, my experience has been so much more than another workout class or fad, and for that I thank yogafever!

I was reluctant to give Yoga a go, but after my first YogaFever class I started to feel much better physically, and my back injuries got better and better. I only wish I had practiced Hot Yoga when I was younger, which I believe would have helped me prevent so many sporting injuries. I also now look great in lycra!
Being a bloke, I thought that yoga wouldn't be for me but I feel totally comfortable in class, and find it a tough workout. I always feel like I need a curry afterwards...I don't know why?
After regular visits to Hot Yoga, I am definitely feeling stronger and I am performing better in sport. I just wish I had more time to go more often. I no longer have my Chiropractor on speed dial and YogaFever has inspired me to try to look after my body. I feel better now than I have done for years.

I was a total beginner and knew nothing about Yoga so was a bit apprehensive about turning up to a class. I think I was worried that everybody else would look at my prop forward physique and think “what’s he doing here?” To put it simply I shouldn’t have worried. Catherine’s classes are a lot of fun and designed for all abilities as you work on your own level and you push yourself as hard as you want. When Catherine sees that you are having difficulty with a particular movement she will offer assistance by either simplifying the stance or giving you a helping hand.
There is always laughter at some point during the class as we try to put our bodies into new positions. This element of fun helps you forget about all your worries and you always leave with a smile on your face.
Since attending the classes my flexibility and core strength has improved no end (there’s still a long way to go, but in 2 years time…!!!!)

I would recommend yoga with yogafever to anyone. The sessions are demanding but the down to earth approach and excellent instruction means that I am confident that I am pushing myself to my own limits. I have always shied away from yoga, preferring aerobic exercise but I leave each session feeling like I have completed a full workout!

In order to help with posture and injury prevention, I recommended that some of our athletes engage in the heated yoga sessions; our players have really noticed the benefits including better muscle length and tone and increased feelings of recovery; which is an essential part of the training process.
Catherine has a relaxed and engaging teaching style and whilst the sessions are challenging they are highly enjoyable; I would fully recommend the yoga sessions to anyone looking to improve strength and flexibility and looking to relieve the stresses of a hectic lifestyle.
Workshop Testimonials
"Awesome afternoon. Especially the bit when I had Dave Coaches lying on my stomach during the laughter circle! Was nice to have a few hours relaxing and Ellie is lovely."
"Thanks for today, was fab! Was such a great combo of {} styles – really worked together. I’m knackered though! x"
"Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the workshop yesterday. Both parts were fantastic. It’s really useful to break the postures down, but I especially loved the afternoon workshop. I’ve almost always ended up with teachers who didn't want to go into the spiritual side of yoga too much to avoid alienating people and I didn't know anything at all about chakras… strangely enough though I am drawn instinctively to postures using the legs when I am not feeling grounded and ones using the hips when i am stressed… Anyway, I just wanted to say well done, I had a fabulous time!! thank you so much"
"wonderful workshop yesterday! Thanks for you're inspiration, fun and energy"

"Sunday afternoon was such fun."
"Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your yoga class last Sunday! I have been 'putting my heart forward' all week. Great stuff."
"I really enjoyed getting back into it even if my fitness is not what it was but it’s given me a goal to continue practice"
